Stone of the Month–Dendritic Agate

If you have ever seen a stone that looks as if it has plants growing in it, then you are mostly likely seeing a Dendritic Agate.  These are wonderful and beautiful stones that make great conversation pieces as a display or in jewelry!

Dendritic agate is often referred to as  the Plentitude Stone. It is considered to be the most valuable form of agate.
Also, dendritic agate is known to be associated with the ancient dryads of Greece, and therefore, is a sign of good luck!  The farmers sometimes use it to bury it in their fields to get good crops.
